Guided Tours Of St Ives

Guided Tours - St Ives Cornwall

Local guide Valerie Hurry will be running Guided Tours Of St Ives throughout the festival.
  • Monday 12th - St Ives Then and Now - History.
  • Thursday 15th - St Ives In The Frame - Art and Artists.
  • Friday 16th  - St Ives Then and Now - History.
  • Monday 19th - St Ives Then and Now - History.
  • Tuesday 20th - Literary Tour - St Ives Writers
  • Thursday 22nd - St Ives In The Frame - Art and Artists.
  • Friday 23rd - St Ives Then and Now - History.
Cost is just £5.00 per person and tours last about an hour and a half with plenty of opportunities to sit. The routes are as level and as easy as is possible in St Ives. No need to book, simply turn up at 11.00 am outside St Ives Guildhall on Street-an-Pol in the centre of town.

It is much more interesting to be shown round town by an experienced guide. You’ll learn things that you can’t pick up on your own and have some fun!

I took part in one of these back in June / July this year. It was informative, relaxed and friendly. Going on the art tour there was of course a great deal of art-talk, but there are also little gems about the town abs it's inhabitants. Well worth the £ 5.
