Livewire - St Ives Guildhall - Saturday 25th September 2010
Livewire - St Ives Guildhall - Saturday 25th September

Some of the main September Festival gigs at St Ives Guildhall have just been announced on Twitter and the official festival website:

  • Saturday 11th: Courtney Pine
  • Sunday 12th: The Unthanks
  • Tuesday 14th: Eddi Reader
  • Wednesday 15th: Altan
  • Friday 17th: The Imagined Village
  • Saturday 18th: Peco Pena
  • Tuesday 21st: Imelda May
  • Wednesday 22nd: The Mousehole Choir
  • Thursday 23rd: Robin Trower Band / The Hamsters
  • Friday 24th: The Beat / John Otway
  • Saturday 25th: Livewire / Limehouse Lizzy
The first gig in the line up at The Western has also been posted - Robin Williamson on Saturday 11th.

The programme does look a bit different this year - and a good mix of folk, jazz and rock. There are still a few empty slots so I guess that more Guildhall gigs will be announced in due course - I'll post details here.

Tickets will not be available until Easter - when you'll be able to get them from St Ives Tourist Information at The Guildhall. No further details of prices and outlets have been posted - but I guess that you will also be able to buy tickets from The Rainyday Gallery Penzance and online via the festival website.

The full programme will also be published at Easter with more details of the arts programme, films, theatre, talks and other events.

No doubt more will be added here in due course:

Also - the festival finally seem to be getting the hang of online marketing - with their own Twitter feed which you can follow here:

I wonder if they'll also get themselves pages on FaceSpace and MyBook - if so I'll post links here in due course.

I'll also be adding stuff to my own Festival page:

Hi Steve thanks very much for posting all the above info. Just to let everyone know that although there's no Myspace page (as yet..) we do have a Facebook page:

And yes, tickets will be available after Easter from the website.
